Job Profile SummaryThe Digital Foundations Programmes team is an integral part of the Digital Enterprise and Operations (DE&O) portfolio, which is part of the Innovation & Engineering (I&E) business entity. The vision of DE&O is to enable and regulate bp’s digital future, providing robust solutions at pace for all bp from its customers to citizen developers to DevOps squads. The focus for the Digital Foundations Programmes sub-entity is to be at the forefront of building modern, secure and compliant digital foundations, to drive a modernized IT landscape flexible for growth and change. We can create sustainable solutions to support renewable revenue growth, ensure secure foundations that leads to greater efficiencies, lead the transformation and innovation across the bp value chain, while reducing unnecessary costs and complexities for the business and increasing transparency. Job AdvertThe Data, Reporting and Performance Portfolio Manager is responsible for a portfolio that holds the responsibility for all of the data and reporting management activity, along with performance metrics, Finance Governance, Risk Management and Business Change. This is considered a key role supporting the VP of Digital Foundations Programmes! Key AccountabilitiesData Management and portfolio common reporting hub management:Set strategy for, develop and own portfolios of new and existing productsConsolidate data (e.g. dashboards/ADOs) across Digital Foundations Programmes (DFP) to provide reporting at portfolio level.Define portfolio reporting structure, demonstrating effective use of existing and new technologiesAct as the main content authority for the product’s backlog with full accountability for changes to the ProductGovernance & Operating Model:Define governance and prioritization across Digital Foundations Programmes (DFP) and support cross-portfolio prioritizationWorking with Portfolio Owners on planning and maintaining an up-to-date delivery road mapAccountable for defining and supervising specific meaningful metrics and use them as a cornerstone for team focus and prioritiesConsolidate overall programme and portfolio governance and optimize engagementsOptimize PMO roles and responsibilities across Digital Foundations Programmes (DFP)Economics & Financial governance; FM, benefits realization management, business change:Accountable for the ongoing financial review for VP for Digital Foundations Programmes, working with Principle Portfolio Managers and Programme ManagersEnsure common performance management tools are used in partnership with DFP colleaguesWorking with Portfolio Owners to align and ensure compliance to bp’s financial reporting and controlsConsolidation and oversight for all Financial Memorandums, Business Cases and Business ChangeManages resourcing and sub-portfolio budget forecastDelivery quality assurance, liaison for coordinated delivery achievement management with Digital Customer Success:Set results-oriented and clear DFP strategy in collaboration with the VP for Digital Foundations Programmes, optimally communicate this strategy to partners and the teamPrioritising backlogs across portfolioIdentifies where a coaching or mentoring approach is required and apply these techniques to guide teams and individuals to embracing an agile mindsetSupports teams in using relevant agile frameworks, such as Scrum and KanbanOwn P&L, customer experience, value generation, prioritisation within portfolio and contribute to cross-portfolio prioritization Education: Scrum Product Owner certified or equivalentBachelor's degree with business & digital acuityJob Requirements:A good overall knowledge of project delivery, be delivery orientatedA good solid understanding of Agile practices, ability to demonstrate agile ways of working (agile ceremonies, backlog prioritization)A proven understanding of Financial controls, with experience of budget authorityCommunication - able to relate to and connect with both business and technology peoplePartner management – able to understand and respond to the drivers and concerns of a wide range of both business and technical partnersAbility to facilitate, develop and evolve digital strategies or different approachesPartner/Supplier management – Understanding of key processes and how to get the best from our PartnersIdentifies where a coaching or mentoring approach is required and apply these techniques to guide teams and individuals to embracing an agile attitude.Desirable criteriaPMP-certified, and/or have proven experience working in agile and waterfall projects and/or programmes, familiar with delivery assurance processes for small, medium, and large projects/programmes.#bpDigitalStrategyProductLeadership EntityInnovation & EngineeringJob Family GroupIT&S GroupRelocation availableNoTravel requiredNoTime TypeFull timeCountryUnited KingdomAbout BPINNOVATION & ENGINEERINGJoin us in creating, growing, and delivering innovation at pace, enabling us to thrive while transitioning to a net zero ‎world.
