My Government client is looking to recruit for a number of content administrators to join their busy team creating and releasing self-study learning materials (reading, videos, quizzes etc.) for newly qualified teachers and their mentors by September 2020. Please note this is a temporary role.
Materials have been produced by four suppliers under the Early Career Framework (ECF), which becomes a compulsory component of teacher induction from September 2021.
This content (approx. 3000 pages) needs to be uploaded and ready to go live on a website by the 1st September. The team is working on the development of the website now, ready for content migration to take place.
Content administrators are required to support migration efforts, so that we can meet our deadline and make materials available for teachers before the academic year starts.
Individuals will work within an existing multidisciplinary team and receive half a day of training in the WordPress platform, as well as guidance to follow to manage the content upload process.
Previous experience required with the following is essential:
G Suite (GMail, G Drive, Google Docs, Google Excel, etc)
Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Confident working autonomously and asking for support
Attention to detail
Experience with the following would be beneficial:
Experience in uploading content into Wordpress or similar Content Management System (CMS) tools
Experience working in projects involving the migration of vast amounts of content
Experience working in a multidisciplinary team and/or experience of Agile ways of working
This role also requires the successful applicant have access to their own laptop with Microsoft packages installed. You will also be required to undertake a DBS check and provide three years' worth of references.
