At FIS you’ll have the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and relevant issues in financial services and technology.About the TeamOur Recoveries team provides support to our Global Business partners whilst managing a wide variety of Merchants in an ever-evolving industry. Our aim is to mitigate financial loss, with a strong focus on reducing FIS exposure and supporting our key stakeholders across the Globe.The team is responsible for managing any administration, insolvency and/or dissolution event which may affect one of our Merchants. Working closely with Credit reference agencies, Payment schemes and legal, the team proactively aim to recover assets and minimise imminent financial risk. Our portfolio consists of a wide variety of Merchant types and platforms, spanning from a small online business to large Corporate retailers. In the Recoveries team you will have the opportunity to develop your career in our ‘WeLearn’ programme and work within an environment which encourages growth.What you’ll be doing Manage several processes linked with Insolvency of customers with the aim of mitigating risk and reducing debt exposureWork closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage the debt portfolio and reduce losses through proactive decision makingAccountable for the consistent performance of assigned Recoveries processes in meeting and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly objectivesReview of processes on a regular basis to drive a culture of continuous improvement and growthProvide analytical views based on data and trends that drive informed decisions and strategyTriage internal and external queriesReconcile Merchant transactional dataWhat you’ll bring Understanding of wider Debt Management processPrevious exposure to working in a targeted driven environmentVerbal & written communication is a key part of this role, building effective internal and external business relationships.Focused, proactive self-starter with good interpersonal skillsGood Microsoft Office Suite skills including Excel, Word and PowerPointAppetite to learn and developAdded bonus if you have:Insolvency QualificationsExperience Business to Business communicationExperience of working in a finance regulatory environment, example; FCA/PRAUnderstanding of the payments industry.Privacy StatementFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
