About the team The Pre-Bound Product Area has been established to improve the submission handling and the costing IT systems that support underwriting deal teams producing quotes optimising turn around time. We are a distributed team of Product Owners and Requirement Engineers. Through close collaboration with internal partners, we have developed a broad understanding of multiple lines of business and type of covers used in commercial insurance. We use this knowledge to steer the work of multiple software development teams. About the Role As a Requirement Engineer / Business Analyst with previous experience in the insurance industry you will work with in an agile set up with two development squads who develop and maintain the Business Process Management (BPM) software that supports the production of quotes by the CorSo Underwriting communities. Your responsibilities include Analysing the requirement from end users and management. Formalising and detailing the technical approach retained to solution a business problem in user stories that can be taken up by the development squad. You will be encouraged to drive the architecture/solution requirement discussion and facilitate solution session with technical architects. Help the Product Owner prioritise the epics and stories for the development squad fully considering their complexity and feasibility. Supporting the team in operational tasks and help ensure that the IT solutions being developed are stable, secure, scalable, and resilient. Supporting the analysis and resolution of complex production support cases. Your profile 6-8 years of hands-on experience on techno-functional requirement management related to insurance policy admin systems or/and insurance BPM systems. Knowledge of Insure Tech products would be ideal. A Bachelor/Master degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Strong problem-solving skills and dedication to quality and timely delivery workflow systems with a demonstrated ability to drive the technical and functional requirements of the squad's products from concept to build. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including clear articulation of technical topics to a non-technical audience. Eager to work in an agile set-up continously improving your agile skills. Experience in using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) along with a technical understanding of web technologies such as: HTTP, HTML, XML, JSON Web services, SOAP & REST API, SAML Fluent in English (spoken and written).
