Resettlement Worker required to assist with accommodation sourcing, resettlement and homeless prevention services to clients with complex needs / history of failed tenancies. To support the delivery of a support package to help clients obtain and sustain independent living.

The RW role will be part advocate, part community navigator, and part support worker. Peer mentor and volunteer roles will also form part of the service, to provide integrated support for clients. RWs will also have a significant role in managing the Personal Interest Budgets of each client facilitating RWs ability to offer innovative solutions to promote sustained independence.

RWs will have their own caseload of clients and we anticipate that caseloads will be in the region of 10-12 clients per worker. RWs will also be expected to work closely with fellow RWs and other members of the MCR staff team, i.e.

• Project Leader
• Social Recovery Worker
• Trainee Support Worker
• Peer Mentor and Volunteer coordinator

What we'll need from you:

1. To have access to a car and be prepared to use it to undertake support work.
2. Enhanced DBS
3. At least 6 months experience working with health-care
