Because everything we do is about our customers, our communities and our people, any profit we make is re-invested in new and existing homes and improving services.About the roleDue to an internal promotion, we now have an opportunity for a Senior Recruitment Advisor to join our in-house recruitment team on a full time, permanent basis (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday). This is a hybrid role where we are currently working 2 days per week in our Oldham office and 3 days working from home.In this exciting role, you’ll be primarily responsible for recruiting senior level appointments across our organisation. Whether in Finance, IT, Customer Services, Asset Management or Construction, you’ll work with senior managers including Directors and Heads of department to deliver effective recruitment campaigns for roles with salaries of circa. 50k+. You’ll not only identify the best place to advertise and source candidates, but you’ll also design and develop the selection processes for these roles including writing interview questions and creating various assessments whilst also ensuring a great candidate experience at every stage. By developing a strong knowledge of our business, you’ll also build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders – working to really understand their directorate, their teams and how they operate. There will also be further opportunities to develop in this role, from taking responsibility for our internal recruitment training programme to further developing our amazing ATS technology. For the right candidate, there’s so much to get involved in to further develop both your skills and our service. In joining us, you’ll be working as part of an established, high-performing team consisting of 3 other Recruitment Advisors. As a team, we manage around 1000 vacancies per year. Our Recruitment Advisors generally manage around 25-30 vacancies at a time, with the Senior RA managing up to 15 – aiming to fill at least 90% of vacancies direct without need for agency assistance. You’ll not only have demonstrable experience recruiting to senior level roles in either an in-house or agency environment, but you’ll also have excellent communication skills, great relationship building and stakeholder management skills and a passion for what we do as an organisation. You’ll be enthusiastic and customer focused with an excellent knowledge and understanding of the current recruitment market and an innovative approach to candidate attraction that responds to market challenges. You’ll also have experience of designing and using various selection materials such as writing interview questions, online assessments, scenario exercises and presentation briefs.
