Senior Sales Director

About the roleThe Sales Snr Director is principally responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the large contract space. In addition, you will also work with the support network across the sales function and alongside the enabling functions to build and utilize stakeholder relations with a view to maximizing revenue gains. The role will proactively identify new opportunities within a new client portfolio that have a requirement for resourcing solutions utilizing the Adecco Group Eco-system of brands and then go on to develop a sales strategy to convert these opportunities into Pontoon wins. The Sales Director must be able to demonstrate added value to these executive relationships by helping them to shape the optimum staffing solution, and ultimately create a situation to direct award or support the bidding process that follows.The role will be responsible for creating a comprehensive sales strategy for the large sector whilst creating solutions and opportunities to execute these. The role will ensure pipelines are managed and targets are being delivered, with accurate pipeline management activity in place.In addition, you will be responsible for facilitating the knowledge base across the Group by sharing customer data and profiling information. You will therefore need to build strong internal relationships across the Group and demonstrate sound influencing and diplomacy skills.What you’ll be doingAccountable for the delivery of up-to-date data with industry trends and be able to contribute and lead discussions – whilst understanding how these shape new growth opportunities.To drive new large contract client sales.High level client networkingResponsible for delivering sales that contribute to the overall budget for Pontoon and TAGResponsible for hitting the sales targets that contribute towards “Gain” within Adecco Workforce SolutionsTo ensure that you remain fully up to speed with the business ecosystem so that you and your team are equipped to present the Adecco Group’s full service offering to any prospective clientsTo ensure your team achieve the pre-agreed sales targets of client visits per weekTo manage, develop and nurture a sales pipeline that delivers 100% of the large businesses budgeted pipelineTo create a great place to work thorough creating high performing sales cultureDesign and undertake client workshops to further client engagement and advance solutioning processRelationship management of named client prospects as well as generating greater client networksUtilization of to manage the end-to-end sales process.Prioritize and focus the work effort to maximize the market opportunity and revenue potential of new opportunities.Possess and be able to clearly articulate and credibly sell the full Adecco Group ‘tool kit’ of products and solutionsCapture client opportunities and shepherd these through the bid and solutioning processWork with Commercial Finance to ensure all bids are subject to the appropriate financial modelling and legal signoffsBuilding senior client relationships in order to ensure account development and growth. Raising the profile of Adecco Group companies within the client community and ensuring that the number and level of client contacts is appropriate to support delivery of the annual sales plan. Delivering annual personal financial target performance expectations.Develop strong relationships with Global Sales to produce target lists of large clients within the same sector.Build strong relationships across the business and drive collaboration.About youExperience in recruitment-based sales at senior levelGiven the complexity of the solutions and relationships with clients at this level, you will have first-hand working experience and understanding of the target industry sectors operational delivery requirements and will be able to build and sustain senior level relationships over an extended period of time.As the role relates to identifying opportunities for Adecco, you must be able to demonstrate solid experience of planning, strategizing and opportunity qualification to ensure that subsequent targets are met.You will have solid experience of working within a team environment, the ability to self-motivate, generate proactive business activity, and ideally have management experience.You will have proven and tangible evidence of winning business and developing and nurturing client relationships at Executive level and will also have a comprehensive knowledge of the UK&I recruitment industry.You will be an experienced networker at a senior levelAble to influence and negotiate with senior leaders leading to large client salesProven track record of demonstrating topline growth YoYExperience of communicating with C-suite level contactsSelf-motivated and takes ownership of workAble to build and maintain a strong relationship with the Adecco Group network of the colleagues across all brands and business areas.Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skillsFlexible, adaptable, and organizedStrategic thinker, with the ability to think both at a macro and micro levelStakeholder management experience essentialWhy choose us?It’s an exciting time to be part of our team.
