This role can be based from any of our offices throughout the UK with the flexibility of remote working from home when not needed on site. The nature of the role will mean that there will be some travel (expensed) required to other UK office locations as well as client offices as restrictions are lifted. Your future duties and responsibilities As part of the successful Service Advisory Practice within GTO UK, you will work alongside a wide variety of clients to support them in navigating their path to net zero and delivering their sustainability ambition. You will be responsible for delivering sustainability consulting, to new and existing clients across a range of industries. You will also be responsible for the business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification to client approval, building upon relevant consulting models and form part of a revenue-generating team. Required qualifications to be successful in this role You’ll need a proven track record of practical, hands-on experience in delivering sustainability strategies as client-facing consultant, internal business partner or trusted advisor. Ideally you’ll have a degree and further related study/certification from a relevant body e.g. IEMA, GRI etc. You will need to demonstrate subject matter expertise together with experience of client facing delivery and program management across some or all areas of sustainability such as;• Materiality assessment, sustainability/CSR strategy• Carbon assessment methodology, measurement and reporting• Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)• Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)• Net zero pathways, solutions and technology• Environmental Systems, ISO 14001• Sustainable supply chain development, monitoring and assurance• Working with global standards, such as GRI, CDP, SASB, and/or TFCD• Waste management, recycling and reuse strategies• Energy/water management and reduction strategies, alternative fuels and renewable energy• Sustainable logistics, distribution and mobility• Social value and community engagement#INDCGI Build your career with us.It is an extraordinary time to be in business.
