Training (IT & Design)

Adecco Poole and Bournemouth are delighted to be assisting one of our local clients in their search for an IT Trainer.

This is a 6-month contract role.

The Role

To design and deliver training and development interventions and to ensure that the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviour of staff and other members of the organisation meet the requirements of the organisation and deliver its priorities.

This post will focus on delivery of a range of information technology training programmes and also development of training programmes through a range of innovate technology.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver training packages for on and off the job training. To include written materials, classroom sessions and learning exercises, utilising all available technology by adopting innovative and alternative methods of delivery where appropriate
  • To maintain contact with internal and external clients and colleagues in order to retain a contemporary profile for the Department and remain knowledgeable of all relevant issues.
  • Test and assess students and deliver any skills coaching or development of students required. Advise and counsel staff in training and development issues including internal departmental routes and external qualification routes.
  • Maintain records for lesson plans, courses, correspondence, reference materials, course content, and guest speakers consistent with the departmental requirements.
  • This post's main responsibilities will be to, design, develop and deliver training and development across a variety of information technology strands including office productivity and bespoke or specific software such as UNIFY, PNC and NICHE

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must be able to identify training and development needs and design bespoke training and development interventions
  • The post holder must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate learning and understanding into the workplace
  • Must be able to demonstrate sound organisational and planning skills
  • Must be highly IT literate and have expert knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Significant experience of delivering IT systems training
  • Innovative approach to using new technologies to deliver learning and development including the use of e learning, Online learning; digital media and immersive learning.

Rate

£14.04 p/h
